  • Hi Jan,

As you can see in the developer console in the screenshot, page id is the same as shown in the URL in the address bar of the browser so correct web page is being loaded. You would like to check if the content of every page linked to the menu-items is same.

    Hi,

if i look at the pages on the dashboard i see every page i use on the frontend has it own ID. And if i hover over the (sub)menuitem i have several ID’s Like:
    https://wp.broos.org/?page_id=855
    https://wp.broos.org/?page_id=858
these page-id correspons with the page id (ofcourse)

But if i click on the item nothing happens only the static homepage stays in the view.

    regards Jan

What content do you see in the page-editor when you click the title of these pages in the admin area? Is it different from what you are seeing at the front-end?

in the admin area all the page have there own content. (and there own ID)
    So that is all correct.
So no page looks the same

Then check if there is any custom code in the functions.php file of your active theme or any plugin that is responsible for this.

i found this file, but how can i see what is custom code or not?

the file has no not been changed since it was installed a few days ago.

The only thing i can think about is a kind of redirect plugin. but i have not installed such one. And i donnot see such plugin in the list of installed plugins.

Okay. Deactivate all the plugins. Check if this makes any difference.
If it doesn’t, activate any of the default WordPress themes. Check if it fixes the problem. If it doesn’t, better idea is to consult the theme developer about this problem.

So i changed the theme. No more problems there. Even a bether theme.

    Thanks for your help.

    regards Jan

No problem. Do check out the Sassy Social Share plugin that allows you to integrate around 100 social networks for your visitors to share content over their network in one click and much more.
