Menu items do not show foreign characters properly

  • Hi! I have been trying to build a website for a local Austrian restaurant based on the restaurateur theme. All works well, except the text at the bottom of each menu item that shows which category they belong to. That text does not display accented vowels:

    i.e. instead of ‘Getr?nke’ (drinks) it shows ‘Getraenke’. however, the accented vowels show perfectly well in the menu. How do I go about solving this?
