menu items below slides

Hello,

First of all, absolutely wonderful plugin, very easy to use and beautiful result.

However, I have a problem with my menu and menu items… they are “below” the slider , either for the items, or for the whole menu when scrolling down the page (using twenty fourteen them)

That would be truly very helpful if you could help with this (I am not a developer and have no idea how to change php, css etc.)
