    Goodmorning,

My name is Greta. I’m trying to create a new site on wordpress. This site should be really basic. It’s will be built only in one page so I need the the menu item send to a specific section of the homepage. So I don’t want that the menu item send to a different page but to a specific section of homepage. Is it possible? How?

I hope that my request will be clear.

    Thank you to everyone.

  • Hello,
You have to add Custom Links in menu and link should be #<id> of the specific section where menu item is to be sent.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Thank you for the answer @dualcube but I don’t understand what I should do. Can you please explain again? I’m sorry but I will really appreciate.

    Thank you again.

    Hello,
    1) Just add a custom ID to the specific sections.

    2) Then go to Appearance > Menus and use the a custom links option to add the section link to your menu items:
For example: you have a site url: https://something.com/
After the last “/” put “#html-id”.
Then your url becomes: https://something.com/#html-id. This html-id is the id of the section you want the menu to scroll down to.

    Hope this explains it.
