Menu Item Disappears on Hover

I have a footer menu for ease of navigation.
When a user hovers on a menu item, the text vanishes, although the link remains active.
I don’t have this issue with the top main menu or sidebar menu items.
I am running Genesis Sample theme.
Any advice appreciated.

The hover color in your footer menu is white, so you get white on white. Try this.
