Oh in the style.css? I was adding everything to the custom css place. Should I change that then?

Don’t edit your theme’s stylesheet directly, as you’ll lose those changes if the theme is ever updated in the future, to fix bugs or security issues or to add new features. If you’re already using a custom CSS plugin or your theme’s built-in custom CSS option, keep using that.

Sorry, my bad I had granted that you are using a Child Theme. Stephen is right.

No I dont know how to set up a child theme so I just add everything to the custom css. And I added that css and it changed nothing.

That css stuff you gave me made the menu move closer to the large picture, and i tried changing the size too.

I changed the margin size and nothing happens, that’s what I meant to say about it. It is still really close to the picture.

Sorry, but I can see it fixed when I preview these changes on my browser, using Firebug. If that (strangely) doesn’t work for you may remove what I suggested you to add and wait for some help.

    Cheers.

I did add what you suggested and that’s when it stopped working. Yeah, I have emailed their support twice now and still waiting.

Yeah, I have changed the size several times and nothing is different. I have tried refreshing the page multiple times as well and nothing happens.

@jko Looks like the custom csas provided worked fine as the menu is now under the logo. Let us know if you need any help.

    Thanks

@layerthemes, yes it is under the logo. However, there is no space between the menu and the photo below it. Also, when I hover over the menu items, the words over the large picture, IT Promises: Delivered, move. It has never done that.

    Please advise.

Also, I have tried editing the margin size so there is a space between the menu and image but it does not work.

I also just noticed that when I hover over the menu items and changed the font size in the customize, and didnt add the px at the end of 18, the underline that happens when you hover over stays on top of the large photo and not under the menu items like it should.

Alright, I have not changed anything and the main menu is back to doing what it did originally. THe about us is at the top right and the rest of the menu is down at the bottom below the logo. Also, the main large picture is still moving when I hover over it.

None of it was like this before the updates.

    Please advise.

Menu is still not working right.

Can anyone help? I cannot get it to look or work right. All of this happened after the update to WordPress and Optimizer last week.
