    Hi Lester,
in the newest Version (2.80.6) the Settings of WP-DBManager in the admin sidebar are gone?
    Thanks

    Hi,

Because of a security issue flagged by Automattic, I have to change the capability to be edit_files (as suggested by them) and realized it is no longer in used. So I have changed it to install_plugins instead.

Let me know if the latest works 2.80.7.

The menu is here again, but the link to
    wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-dbmanager/database-backup.php
shows only a blank page with “Access Denied” on top of the page…
    Thanks

What kind of role you have in WP? Are you on MultiSite? Are you able to install plugins?

    Thread Starter Matthias

    (@matthias70)

No multisite, just normal admin rights.

Hm, on my other pages, the plugin runs without problems.

On the page with the plugin problems
I can access all options of the plugin, except the database-manage.php

I changed my ftp password today? Is it stored somewhere in the plugin?

    Thanks
    Matthias

Version 2.80.8 fixes the problem. ??

I think you got the file wrong? I think it is database-backup.php. I indeed miss out that file.

    Yes, I meant database-backup.php.
    Problem is fixed!!!
    Thanks
