Menu in language specifik widget not displayed

    Hi,

    I have, as usual, configured one Swedish and one English Nextend Accordion menu. I use Polylang for the languages. I add one Nextend Accordion Widget for Swedish and one for English to the sidebar. The Swedish Nextend Accordion menu shows on both Swedish and English pages. And the English Menu doesn’t show at all. I have tested to change theme and the behaviour is the same. I have added a regular Menu widget and it shows the English menu on English pages. Any hints on what’s going on? I can’t post the link here since the page is under construction in a subfolder of a live site.

    Hi @argentum!

    We don’t really choose where our menu should show up, it will just load where it is called in, so the problem probably will be in the Polylang, that it loads your widget positions wrongly. If you just try this with a text widget, can you make one text widget show up on one language, another one on the other language?
    If you can, we have shortcodes for our menus:

    and most themes are running shortcode replacement codes on text widgets, so you could use that instead of our widget.

    I’m not related to this plugin, and I don’t even use Polylang (yet).
    But a guess here could be that the plugins need to be loaded in the right order. Make sure that the menu plugin loads after Polylang, probably by hanging the menu on a later hook, something that the plugin dev would need to do.

    Forget what I asked. I had forgot to connect the Accordion Menu with the english main menu in the Nextend menu settings (first button). *blushes*
