I’m building a custom menu for a client using a child them built on the standard twenty ten theme. It’s a bit complicated as it uses a different image for each link on the menu. Basically each menu link has its’ own hover and a link image. They’re all showing up and working correctly. However, I’ve messed with padding, margins, etc., and can’t seem to get it to work, spacing-wise. When all the hover states look right using google chrome tools, I put it all into the style sheet. When I refresh and look at the menu, the spacing is all off again. Is this just something in the css I’m missing? Position relative verse absolute,etc.., or is there something else?
By the way, the menu is towards the bottom of the screen, which is where the client wants it. Here’s the test link where I’m building the site.

    Thanks!
