• I’ve been using and liking the Divi theme, however, I’ve been using it on sites with roughly 40 pgs or less.

I was recently awarded a site of 400 pgs. I’ve found WP’s Menu seems to not be able to handle more than 90 pgs, so it seems I need to use a plugin such as Max Mega Menu. And since I will be over-riding Divi’s nav menu, I think that I should re-think using it at all on a site of this size. I want the end result to be very clean.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a them that is specifically used for very large sites… is clean, responsive and flexible?

  • The standard WP Nav Menu will handle 400 menu items with some tweaks to your server setup:

Max Mega Menu won’t overcome this limit for you. The only way it could help is if you break down your menu into a main menu and multiple sub menus (each with < 90 items). You could then use Custom Menu widgets to display your sub menus inside your main menu (phew..).

But it’s easiest to tweak your server settings.
