• Hi
I am using jupiter theme. I am having an issue I have a main menu setup where i scroll to different parts of the web page using # and sectionIDs i.e myurl/#home. Now i want to add another menu item where i will be directed to a different page forexample myurl/newpage. However once i reach this page from main page I cannot use the menu again. The navigation menu buttons try to add #home to myurl/newpage/#home. I want to know how can i navigate to another page on my site without breaking the main navigation menu?

  • hi
You have to add a full url to the menu items to be able to get back from the separate page to the page where the anchor menu items works.
So you have to add https://mysite.com/#sectionid
    insted only #sectionid
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks

i am not sure for what about you speak becasue i don’t know your site url nor the child theme of Jupiter that you use.
You said you have second menu in place, so i don’t understend what is the problem to add any pages to that second menu

hi this is the site url it-profiler.com. If i goto https://it-profiler.com/stellenmarkt/ the second menu appears in place of the main menu and lets me go back to the main page. I added a new page it-profiler.com/submit now here the second navigation menu doesnt appear the main navigation menu appears which is completely broken here. I was wondering if you could tell me how can i associate the second menu to the new page just as it is associated in https://it-profiler.com/stellenmarkt/

    hi
It seems there is an option to assign a different menus to each separate page.
So you have the second menu wich is added to the https://it-profiler.com/stellenmarkt/ page
Can you check on the backend of that page, somewhere have to be a field or settings where the second menu is assigned to that page.
You have to do the same setups on the backend of the new page it-profiler.com/submit
All setups have to be on the pages settings, not in general menu setups for WP
If you are not able to find it or figure out then contact the theme support as here is a place for general WP questions.
    Thanks
