Menu does not sync

  • Hello! I was looking for a plugin like this! Great! But unforutnately, it does not sync the menu at all.

    I have a blank wordpress installation (Theme: The7) and installed the plugin.
    The plugin created a new menu “Nested Pages”.

    But changing the page’s order does not change the menu. Neither in the frontend nor in the backend (Design -> Menu). I also tried to switch to the default theme but same problem – no sync at all. Any idea?

    WP: 5.2.1
    Plugin: 3.0.11

    I have not got an answer from the publisher.
    I fixed the problem by changing the option ‘nestedpages_menusync’ directly into the database at the value “sync”.

    @mediapilotecholet I’ll give this a try – if this is the “problem” then it seems to be a problem with WordPress Core Version and some admin settings. Thank you!

    I am surprised that the author of the plugin did not come back to us.

    I’ve been using this plugin for quite some time now.
    Not syncing menu just happens sometimes – as well as duplicated menu items.
    The usual way I solve this problem is to go to the menu-section and delete nested-pages’ menu completely.
    Then refresh the page to let nested pages recreate it’s menu.
    Next switch it’s position within the theme back on.
    I would not recommend renaming the menu to something else.

    It’s a humble request to plugin author to come and handle the situation for us. Why?

    Same problem here. The sync is completely useless. I’m constantly getting duplicates pages and missing pages in the menu. It never works. At all. I’ve given up on this plugin.

    The plug-in author is unreachable. I hesitate to abandon this plug-in too.

    I’m having the same issue. Checking “sync menu” does absolutely nothing.

    Has anyone in this thread found a solution? Or another plugin that works better?
