Menu does not show on mobile

    Hi! I have a problem with my site.

    Yesterday I made a few changes on my site and today I noticed that the main menu isn‘t showing up on mobile devices. I searched a lot on WP Forums and found out that the menu does show if I remove ?Menu1“ as main menu and do not define a menu. In this case (without a menu defined) it does show the menu on mobile devices. But for sure if the menu is not defined it does show every single page in the dropdown menu and thats not what I want. I already tried switching off the plugin ?WP Fastest Cache“ but this didmt solve the problem. I don‘t understand how this happened. Can anyone help? Thanks!

    Theme I am using: Mesmerize (free version)

    Some plugins I am using (could one of these trigger the problem?) :
    – Disable Comments by Samir Shah
    – Jetpack by Automattic
    – Mesmerize Companion
    – NextGEN Gallery
    – UpdraftPlus
    – WooCommerce Germanized
    – WP Fastest Cache by Emre Vona (caching + minified css/html)
    – WP Meta and Date Remover by Presad Kirpekar

  • I can reproduce the bug:

    Steps:

    1. Make sure you don’t have any menu activated (Design -> Menu) and delete all menu items.
    2. All sites/pages in pages are visible in the main menu and in the menu for mobile devices.
    3. Create a new primary menu in Design -> Menu
    4. Select only the sites you want to show in the menu
    5. Menu is visible on the desktop but not visible on mobile devices
    6. Remove the created menu
    7. Menu with all the sites/pages are now visible again in the mobile devices

    @spremede can you verify my reproduction steps?

    Yes I can verify these steps, its the same on my page. I don′t have a solution yet.

    I’ve the same problem after theme’s last update. It happens on both Free and Pro version. But I’ve noticed that offcanvas menu works as inteded if I deactivate woocommerce. Of course this is not a solution but can help developers to fix this bug.

    We have identified a small bug within our theme. If you deactivate the show cart menu option for Woo Commerce, your menu will work.

    We are expecting to solve this issue on the next theme update, which will be today or tomorrow.
