• HI,
I had the Responsive select plugin installed and working properly for a while.
Then I decided to edit the menu structure using the WP custom Menu screen, adding more links to it and once I did that the menu disappeared completely, now it doesn’t appear at all.

I reviewed all setting and they all seem correct to me.

I tried disabling the plugin and the menu reappeared right away!

Any idea why this is happening?

    Much appreciated.

    Update:
I had to disable it for now as my site was not looking right with the menu not appearing.

If you can help, please, let me know and I will enable it once more so you can check the problem live on site.

    Thanks.

No idea, sorry. Can’t imagine why altering the menu would have any effect on the display, so I suspect something else is actually the cause.

Hi, thank you for getting back to me.
I totally agree that it’s strange but from what happens I think it must be related to the plugin.

When I added new menu items the menu won’t show up at all, then I removed the new items and it reappeared. Then when I disable the responsive select for this particular menu, it reappears again!

Doesn’t that show that it must be related to the plugin itself?

And what happens when it disappears is that I get an empty div for the menu container!

    Any idea?

Hey, I’m having the same problem. I had everything set up and running well. After the client added some items to the menu, the menu disappeared.

When I deactivate the plugin, the menu appears, but obviously unformatted.

Is there anything special about those menu items, or is there any other code targeting the menu items via a filter?

No, not really, I was just trying to add more items to the menu.
There is nothing special about any of those menu items.
