Menu Buttons Not Working

  • So I’m totally new. Not a designer. Working with an Artisteer template.

    Question 1:
    I have all my pages up with something in them. Everything’s loaded into the root directory. Okay, fine.

    Haven’t changed any permalinks, but when I go to the site the buttons don’t work, and when I roll over anything there I just get www/rememberarts.com/#.

    Where is the goof?

    Question 2:
    How do I update my theme and reinstall without losing all my content? Once I had it loaded into a sub folder and just activated another theme while I installed the update, then activated it once the install was complete. Now I lose everything. I just don’t know which files I need to delete before I re-install.

    Does this make sense? I feel like I’m speaking hungarian phonetically.
