Click a green button “Code” then an item “Download ZIP” to download a ZIP file with fixed version.

Following that thread as I have the same menu organization.
Will stay in 2.6.11 for now and wait for the fix to be sure it will not break anything on all my websites.

Also following this thread and staying at 2.70 for now.

When will be released the new version that fix this issue ?

The branch fix/issue1381 has been deleted after merging to the branch development/2.8.x. You can download the latest pre-release version from the branch development/2.8.x

As a temporary solution you can download a ZIP file with the fixed version using this temporary link to Google Drive.

I’ve tried the temporary solution, but this hides the menu for logged-in users completely. So, like the question above, when can we expect the final (good working) update ?

The temporary solution helps to hide menu sub-items if their master item is hidden.
Create a new thread if your question differs from a question discussed in the thread.

This issue has been fixed in the version 2.8.1 released on December 20.

This is still not resolved. Menu items are still missing or corrupt.

I also upgraded to see that some menu items were missing.

Up to now “Administrator” role could see all menu items. We now have to specifically check the “Administrator” role of every menu that is set to “Connected users” in order to see this item if logged in as administrator.
