Menu Bar dimensions, color, position

  • Used snippets in my Child Theme to center the menu bar (‘nav bar’?) but want to:
    1. change the background color to black,
    2. decrease it’s height,
    3. round the corners,
    4. set maximum width
    5. change menu items (links) font to white

    Also, the tagline seems to be sitting in the menu bar, no? Or is it just overlapping? Anyway, would prefer to have the site title at top of page, logo image underneath that, and tagline underneath logo. (Then the thinned menu bar below the tagline.) I seem to be getting close but …

    Any help much appreciated!
