    Hello All,

    First time poster…

I have my site up and running. I tried using the MAXCDN setup but decided not to use it.

I now notice that my headers and footers are no longer displaying correctly on IE or Edge.

The site seems to show correctly Firefox.

Any idea what might be causing it? I have deleted cache and not sure what might be causing it.

    My site is: https://thecreepyfactor.com

  • Can you please disable the plugin called autoptimize and check it i think the merging of the css is causing the problem

    * to test you can add ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL, that will disable autoptimization
    * if the problem is with AO, one could disable CSS optimization or go through some troubleshooting (as per the FAQ) to exclude just the right CSS.

    hope this helps,
    frank (ao dev)

    Hello Frank and Sakar,

I disabled AO and the menus are displaying correctly. I will take a look at the FAQs and try re-installing.

The odd thing is that AO was working fine. I did some tests on the different websites that made recommendations to increase speed.

So I tried the free offer from MAXCDN which seemed to help, but since I do not have much traffic at this time…paused the setup there.

That is when I noticed the change, at least on IE and Edge, with the menus.

Thanks a lot for the quick response and suggestions!

    Kurt
