Menu anchor + Buttons = not working

    Hello!
    I am new at Elementor but I just cannot figure out why this is not working.

    This is my issue:

    • I got some buttons on the page (created with Elementor).
      These buttons should just enter strings into the URL same page – so the link for a button is for example ?plugin=testA – this triggers a plugin to show a specific content on the page. This works just fine.
    • If within the specific content that I want to show when the URL contains ?plugin=testA contains an anchor (let’s say anchorA) and I change the button to ?plugin=testA#anchorA then the button works correctly and it reloads the page with the correct URL and scrolls to where anchorA is. This works just fine too
    • BUT if I put a Menu anchor on the page with Elementor – let’s call it anchorB and I change the link of the button to ?plugin=testA#anchorB, then once I click the button, the page scrolls to the location of anchorB but DOES NOT CHANGE THE URL so the content is not loaded.

      • I would like very much to use the Elementor implementation for the anchor as I love how smooth it takes you to the location, but I have no clue why is this not working!

    Laughable reply, as soon as it hits I uninstalled elementor with the speed of light.

    This is not support, this is the lack of it.
