menu admin panel (nav-menus.php) page is extremely slow

    I am encountering issues with the menu admin page – nav-menus.php

    page is responding extremely slow, and very often not responding at all.
    I see this in several sites I manage, on different themes (blankslate, generate press, ocean WP)

    The only thing in common is that they are all hosted under my host (fastcomet shared host)

    I am using PHP ver 7

    Hopefully this will help someone in the future… apparently the problem is related to chrome browser, when working from Firefox i don’t have any issues

    Thank you so much for sharing this. All this time I thought it was WordPress and I knew they had a fix in 2013. Now I just tried in Firefox and there is no problem whatsoever.
