@mentions in blog/post comments?

That wasn’t the primary goal of this plugin. It could be done but I think it would be preferable as another plugin. Mentionable if mostly used to cross link content inside your blog and only available in the Wysiwyg.

Hi @willy Bahuaud. That is a great plugin, but it is limited only to tagging authors. If I wanted to tag other users it won’t do it. I use a notification plugin that I’ve adapted so that any @mentions in comments will email and notify users, but with a large user base the auto-complete aspect would be awesome. I agree, this would be a really nice feature but it would need to be something you could turn on or off and the default should be off.

There’s a couple of high end bbPress plugins that do this in topic threads, I’m going to see if they can extend it to comments as well.
