I noticed with some plugins that offer (many) WordPress blocks, the ability to turn them on or off, depending on which blocks you want to use.

Do blocks take up memory or other resources if present but not in use? I know plugins do, but I’m not sure if this is also the case with blocks. I only use one block that it is not part of the default WP blocks, namely the Kadence Advanced Gallery block. I thought I wanted to disable all the rest, but like I said, I don’t know if that would be beneficial for my site.
