Memory problems breaks site

    Since the last update the plugin causes memory leak and breaks the post or page, where TOC is enabled. The debug.log doesn’t show anything relevant to the TOC files:

    “PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes)”

    I tried toggling some options to test, but unfortunately it didn’t help.

    The solution for now was to roll back to 2.0.48. If I need to test anything on my local installation, let me know.

    Hi, Sorry for the inconvenience caused you. Can you please share the screenshot of the error once? It is showing on localhost or on the website as well? Also, Kindly do let us know the PHP version which you are using currently. So that we will test the issue and assist you to fix the issue.

    That’s interesting.. I’ve updated the plugin (from 2.0.48 to 2.0.49) and now it works. The bug was on both local and production environments. Maybe there were corrupted or missing files?

    The log file showed nothing really helpful. Just the
    “PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes)” with some wp-includes filename path. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I cannot reproduce the error anymore.

    We have the same issue. A workaround was to set maximum 4 posts per page. But we deactivated the plugin for now. Update doesn’t help.

    Unfortunately last week the problem suddenly came back with the 2.0.49. We’ve updated now to the new version 2.0.50 und it seems to work. But we will keep observing.
