Memory problem
-
I run my website for a couple of years now. The constellation of plugins was and is still the same. My website runs on a shared server but due to low HDD and RAM costs it’s got even more capacity.
However, after having moved from qTranslate to mqTranslate my website encounters random occasional memory problems and users see a PHP insufficient memory error text instead of my website.
Example
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 40 bytes) in /.../wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1938
It’s a gut feeling but I think mqTranslate is the reason for those errors, and unfortunately my gut feelings are often right. The WP FAQ says that often badly coded scripts are the reason for such errors. Moving from qT to mqT was the only significant change I made.
Please check that!
