    Hi there,

I just upgraded from GS Star rating. Went smooth. Found all the process in the right place.

I really like the way you create and program plugins. I can see you both work(ed) as an administrator ánd a programmer.

I never got the google snippet to work, lets see if that will now work. Not a priority though and not sure if google is still using this.

I do have a problem to report: on the settings page there is something that causes a memory leak and possibly freezes the page. the color picker seems a suspect, since I had to retry several times and add the color code manually to be able to save. It went all the way to 800 MB memory ??

Im sure you′ll nail it fast. Ill be checking out your other plugins.

If I ever need a plugin write I give you a call.

    Cheers.

    Hi,

Thanks for letting me know about this. But, I can’t confirm or reproduce the problem. Color Picker is WordPress own component, and it is a JavaScript only control.

Did your 800MB usage was in browser? It possible that JavaScript causes such memory leak, but it might be caused by some conflict on the page with some third party plugin script. I am currently working on 2.0 version, and I am debugging everything in the plugin, and I have not noticed any memory leaks in JavaScript.

You can try to debug using Chrome or Firefox Dev Tools, and maybe disable some plugins you find suspect to see if the memory leak is caused by other plugins. Unfortunately, many plugins are loading JavaScript on the pages that don’t belong to them, causing problems, and there is no easy fix for that.

    Regards,
    Milan

    Hi Milan

Thanks. Yeah could be one of the plugins conflicting

I’ll give it a try without plugins and report my findings.

    Regards
    Michael
