Given that I am using it live here and here along with several other users, I doubt this is generic. So I would like to request your album id so that I can investigate at my end.

Hi. I am use this code

You want to bring in 1111112 results in one post!!!! That’s more than 1 million photos! How do you expect your server not to collapse with this?

Dear, Sayontan Sinha. No I have about 20-30 photos in this album. I type 111112 just for unlimited value. So album have …. yes 22 photos only.

No issues with the shortcode. I tried it on the demo page: https://aquoid.com/news/plugins/photonic/picasa/picasa-photos/

Not help. I open page in 2 browsers and have
    Memory Usage 778084 / 1048576 KB . 1 page about 360 MB.

Also how work this plugin? I thought if all images located at picasa server – your plugin just put image urls in the nice js popup and my server do nothing.

Sorry, are you talking about server memory or browser memory? Your original post says your server memory shoots up to 400MB – if that was the case, your site would go down, because shared hosting sites don’t give you more than 128MB. Now it appears like you are saying that your browser memory shoots up.

I took the shortcode you provided and pasted it into the demo page. As you can see, the page is loading up just fine without any issues. On my machine I have the demo page up on Firefox (Firefox is my primary browser and has 77 tabs open, with a total memory usage of 980MB – Photonic demo pages are open on 8 tabs; this is very normal memory usage), Chrome (84MB with one tab) and IE9 (64MB). So I am not seeing any memory issues with the plugin on my site with any browser.

If you can provide your URL I can take a look and see how much memory it takes up at my end.

I am talked about server memory. And yes my site go down when server memory go to 1gb. Looks like some confict between Photonic and my server. Anyway thank You for your time.

You will need to check with your hosts – I don’t believe any web application allocates 1GB of memory. As I showed you, I am running the same code on my site, and I know that my hosting provider gives 128MB shared memory. My site seems to be running fine (I run 3 WP installations and phpBB on the same site).

I have a feeling you are confusing between the server and browser – if the 778MB of memory was on the computer where you have your browser open, then that is not server memory. If your server was going down due to querying the Photonic page, you would have to restart Apache each time: are you doing that? You would also not be able to be open your site on 2 browser instances; the second instance would give you something like an “Internal Server Error”.

In any case, if you provide your URL I can take a look.

One more time – this is server memory. I am able to see difference between server Cpanel resource stats and my Pc)))). Thank You. I think converation completed since I have no time to explain my hoster about some plugin for wordpress and strange page with photonic shortcode. Goodbye

OK. Sorry for trying to help. I didn’t realize you didn’t want any help any longer.

“Sorry for trying to help.”? I say Thank You. You help me understand that this is some conflict between plugin and server. So I have not any idea how and what to change on the server side, so I will search for another solution. Have a nice day/night
