Memory Issue with Chrome
-
Hi, I have several site that are based around WordPress but one of them (only the one) is having difficulties. All has been well until last week. Then if you are loading any of the back end pages – especially the plugin list, then the pages delay for a while and you get the unresponsive error, I select the “Wait” option and then finally you get the Chrome “Aw Snap” error. You then click the reload, and the same happens. I should say that looking at the generated site (not the WordPress admin dashboard etc.) is fine. Pages load and display as expected and in an acceptable response time.
As I said, other sites using the same software stack (WordPress and Chrome) work as expected. I have closed everything else on my PC and just had the system and one Chrome tab running and it still ran out of memory.
Trying the same in Firefox and all is OK and no memory or load issues. Now, this MAY be a Chrome issue, but it is suspicious that it is only one site. Have you any idea as to what I can do to reach out for assistance?
