I just attempted to upgrade Site Kit to the latest version. Upon upgrading, the entire site went down due some sort of memory issue. If I deactivate the plugin via FTP, everything works again.

For my current fix, I downgraded back down to version 1.93.0. That was the last version where everything worked properly.

Both the development version and version 1.94.0 do not work and renders the site useless.

This is not the only site I am having issues with. I have about three more that prevent me from upgrading to the current version.

Below is an error from the log:

2023/03/04 22:29:46 [error] 48692#48692: *464733 FastCGI sent in stderr: “PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 262144 bytes) in /www/******_248/public/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1952PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 262144 bytes) in Unknown on line 0” while reading response header from upstream, client: 75.131.237.160, server: ****, request: “GET /wp-admin/post.php?post=5541&action=edit HTTP/1.1”, upstream: “fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php8.0-fpm-****.sock:”, host: “****:56038”, referrer: “*****”

Hello @dnobhlrjr thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you are facing this issue. The latest version of Site Kit is 1.95.0 so can I ask you if you have since tried updating to the latest version to see if you encounter the same issue?

If you are still facing the issue could I please ask you to share the following:

    1. Your?Site Health information. You can?use this form?to share privately if preferred.
    2. Do you see any warnings or errors when checking your Site Health status (Tools > Site Health > Status), which differs from your Site Health information requested above? Such errors may include REST endpoint references.

Let me know if you have any questions on the above.
