memory increase (symptoms and how-to) (v.2.0.5)

  • I am having trouble w/ larger posts getting “stuck” when I “save” or “publish.

    I was told I should increase the memory.

    Does this sound right?

    And… how do I do that? Where, how? I’m stuck.

  • add this code to your .htaccess file

    php_value memory_limit = 16M

    .htacess file will be in the root of the account

    you can access via ftp or

    if you have cpanel
    login to admin

    click file manager and browse the file
