  • I could be wrong but a shared hosting service that has memcached enabled seems unlikely, or at least rare. Have you asked GoDaddy if the service is active and available?

    Hello cesare190

Normally, membercached doesn’t work in shared server, same for GoDaddy shared hosting AFAIK. Could you please confirm with the GoDaddy support?

    Have a good day!

    Cheers

GoDaddy support told me that memcache/memcached can be active from cpanel php extensions. They also sad me that it is fully supported.

I’ve tried to play with cache methods, and this is my personal result:

    TTFB

    Disk Basic 0.7 – 1.4s

    Disk Enhanced 0.1 – 0.4s

    OpCode APC 0.6-0.7s

    MemCache 3.4-4s

    Thanks in advance ??
