Membership with fixed date : yearly basis from 1st Janurary

    Hi there,

    I is possible to set membership with fixed renewal date ?

    For instance, a yearly membership that would have to be renewed every 1st january, whatever the subscrition date ?

    I can’t find any ay to set that up ?!

    Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    This is possible using either the Set Expiration Date Add On or the Subscriptions Delay Add On, depending if you need it to be manual renewals or automatic renewals respectively.

    One more question, almost in the same vein.

    Can we set a “early bird” and a “grace” period ?

    For instance,

    • membership is open any time in the year
    • the membership will expire on the 1st janurary of the next year, but
    • if they register register in december 2021, their membership won’t expire on the 2022/01/01 but 2023/01/01, we consider them as “early birds/members/renewer”
    • if they do not renew their membership before the expiration date, we do not kick them out straight, and let them a “grace period” of three extra month to renew their membership. So someone who registered for 2021 will keep the same “rights” until 2022/03/31. “Officially” his membership has ended on 2022/01/01, but we let the member some time to renew his membership, while legitimatly send him renewal reminder during this “grace period”. I don’t think mooving the offcial exiration date to 2022/03/31 would work, as the member won’t feel his not a member anymore, and it wouldn’t be nice to hammer curent members to renew for the next year (one mail is ok, but often not enough)

    The Set Expiration Date does this automatically when it reaches closer to the date set. Any functionality questions for this Add On should be directed to https://paidmembershipspro.com/contact as we are not allowed to support any premium plugins on www.remarpro.com .
