Membership Theme for applications

  • Hi all

    Im not a specialist with wordpress coding and wanted to know if there are anything themes/plugins based on membership? Basicly i want to create a website that allows a membership and use those details to be used when submitting an online application form. And thats really it. And when they submit the application form there details are exportable to some kind of csv file or some kind of database.

    Basically we are trying to run trips for students. We want them register onto the website. After that they can fill a basic form. and after they click submit, then the data gets inputted into some kind of csv file.

    Is it necessary CSV file?

    1, Should it be as CUSTOM POST TYPE?

    2, I would use google forms and output results to spreadsheets
