Membership shortcode not displaying any message, just hiding content

Hi there

I installed pmpro on my site and i want to lockup certain content in a post and i want to display it only for level 1 and level 2 members.

I tried many shortcodes like [membership level=”1, 2″][/membership] , but the issue is the shortcode is hiding the content but not displaying any message like ” This Content is only for level 1 and level 2 members, please register” ,

Please let me know how to add the message with shortcodes.
