    Hi,

    Me again! After spending lots of time changing things around for V3 and WooCommerce, I finally have the best experience for my users ever. Thank you for all your hard work!

    Just need to check on a couple of things….

    Has there been some changes with membership restrictions recently? I notice now that a whole post list page will become restricted if any posts listed are restricted. In previous 2x versions of LifterLMS this was not the case. I liked the fact that people could see what they were missing out on this way.

    One other small thing which I notice you said you were working on was the no payment gateways notification while using WooCommerce as a checkout. Any progress on this?

    Thanks in advance.

  • @stickymathscom,

    Seems like we had a bug rearing its head on post lists related to membership restrictions. Fixed it in 3.2.3 (released this AM). Please have an update as it should resolve that for you.

    I realize this is an annoying “bug” but I have not had the time to fix it yet. It’s just one of the 200+ items on my backlog. I intend to fix it but it’s a pretty low priority issue since it’s one of those things thats annoying. I have to focus on the things that are actually broken. I am sorry I don’t have more time (or maybe it’s energy).

    Thanks,

    Totally understand the situation with the payment gateway notice, no problem while your so busy.

    I updated Lifter LMS and the post lists issue has gone ??

    There is a new issue which seems to have arrived (unless for some stupid reason I did not notice this before)…..It came to light when I got an email for a customer this morning.

    Any page or post that is restricted to MULTIPLE memberships is actually only restricted to the FIRST membership in the restrictions list. I have fully tested this with new accounts, current accounts and new/old posts. It is a definite issue but is it just for my site?

    Hope you can shed some let on this as to keep my customer happy I have had to restrict myself from some of my own site content :/

    @stickymathscom,

    Again, I’m sorry about this…. I didn’t realize it was working this way but at this moment content restrictions are requiring access to *all* assigned memberships rather than *any* or *at least one* of the memberships.

    The metabox itself indicates that members must belong to *at least one* but the code is doing an *all* check. I will get this resolved as soon as possible and please accept my apologies for the bug…

    I’ll post back here when I have an update released.

    3.2.4 resolves this issue

    Thank you @thomasplevy

    It works perfectly.

    Also the payment gateway notification…..I can just turn manual payment options on in Lifter LMS ??

    As always your support is impeccable even when I am sure you have plenty of other things to do.

    I recently purchased your WooCommerce add on and will be looking at the LaunchPad theme this year as my current premium theme is due for renewal. The support I have received from them recently has been extremely dismissive.

    I do have one further question that I am thinking does not need a new thread for now……I am trying to restrict what particular users(students) appear on the the new reporting feature list, I do not care how easy/difficult a workaround is, I really want to achieve this!

    Who with and where can I start exploring this?

    @stickymathscom,

    I believe you may have emailed me about this… my support load is simply massive and I have a bunch of feedback on the reporting feature sitting in my inbox for weeks now. I do 95% of development, 95% of support, and all the feature requests and feedback stuff and I’ve been really slow to reply to feedback as of late, please accept my apologies.

    In short: I don’t have filters or functions set up for you to do this today.

    We intend to add robust teacher and permissions functionality to the LifterLMS core but it’s a pretty large task and one that I haven’t even really started planning yet.

    I’ll reply in greater detail via that email (if that wasn’t you then know your not alone in your needs and I guess that makes it a bit higher priority for me).

    Thanks,

    Oh no…..

    I have noticed another issue with membership restrictions that did not happen previously.

    Search results……If the search criteria matches anything from a membership the user does not belong to then the whole search results page becomes the restricted content message.

    Sorry Thomas!
