• Hi,
I have follow the instruction to implement membership renewal.
    – I created a renewal page with payment buttons (續會2021年度). This page is restricted to logged-in members only.
    – Enable Expired Account Login was ticked off,
    – Membership Renewal URL was entered as “https://frank-photography/會員使用/續會2021年度/”,
    – To test, I created a member of membership level whose membership would expired in a few days. The member is now expired. When this expired member logged in and clicked the 續會2021年度 (membership renewal), he was redirected to another page with the message: “Your account has expired. 请 renew your account to gain access to this content.” The word renew was a link. When this link was clicked, a 404 page was displayed saying “This page doesn’t seem to exist.”

I am not sure what I missed or got wrong in setting this up. Please help.
    Thanks

Hi, I clicked on the link above and it shows as a 404 error message. That means that URL does not exist any more. That is why your setup is not working. You need to investigate the URL.

    Thank you

Hi, I now copy the URL of the page from a different browser and place it in the setup. It works. But the URL is as below:
    https://frank-photography/%e6%9c%83%e5%93%a1%e4%bd%bf%e7%94%a8/%e7%ba%8c%e6%9c%832021%e5%b9%b4/

My original URL was from the backend page,
    “https://frank-photography/會員使用/續會2021年度/

I am not a techie. Do you mind explaining the above so I can understand more. Also should I be getting the URL from another browser instead of from the page on the backend, if similar setup is required?

Hi, the link above is not working in my end. I think this has to do with your language setup in your WordPress installation. This issue is not really related to our plugin but more to the way you have setup your site language/s.

    Thank you

The link will not work from your end. My installation is local at this point.
    Can you answer my questions.
Also can this plugin works with bilingual?

    Hi,

The link will not work from your end. My installation is local at this point.

That explains why it did not work for me. Your best option is to wait until your site is live, then you will able to get the correct URL address. Local installs work different to live installations. Also make sure your Permalink structure is correct.

    Can you answer my questions.

Sorry for missing the questions. Can you please provide questions again?

Also can this plugin works with bilingual?

It does work with different languages but this also depends on your setup.

Let me know if you need more information or help.

    Thank you
