Membership Registration Levels

  • I am in the labyrinth of setting up membership for my site. I have set paypal buttons and levels of membership, etc. But have reached a sticking point. I’ll try to explain simply.
    So free membership users go from the login page to registration page and put in their detail and get access to surface pages. Perfect.
    But the paying members go from the join us page to paypal, where they pay but then they do not get sent back to register their details and create passwords. And if they do register on that page, they only get access to surface pages.
    I hope that makes sense to someone out there.
    Please… what am I missing?

    Thank you for that. It was a very simple and clear explanation. So basically it’s saying that the process takes care of itself via a link emailed to the subscriber.
    I can’t test whether or not it works though which leaves me feeling slightly unsettled.

    Hi, you can try to register with a test account. That way you can witness the whole process yourself.

    A test account would allow me to run through the process without having to pay the subscription myself?
    How might I go about doing that, do you know?

    You could test the sandbox process if you don’t want to register yourself.
