Membership Plugins

Hello,

I run a local cleaning company, and I will be overhauling my website. I would like to switch to wordpress, but I am overwhelmed by all the plugins available! I am currently using Quickbooks for accounting and the merchant services from my bank to collect payments, with no online presence for billing or accounts.

I would like to restrict membership to only my current clients (possibly by giving them a sign up code or something similar), then once they are logged in have a member portal (similar to a utility company) that has billing information, monthly billing invoices (We have a monthly cycle plus some side services, so there would be a monthly invoice plus other documents I would like to add to their account for side services). I would like to have articles and other content available to members only as well. Is this possible with WordPress, and if so what plugins would be best?
