Membership only showing when logged in

    I am trying to create a member directory however the member are only showing when logged in, not when logged out, and I have no idea why!

    My member directory only shows a specific role.
    Can view other member profiles? is ticked
    Members are approved and in appropriate category.

    What more acn I check, or can somebody please help me, happy to give an authenticated user access and pay to get this solved….

    Oh, and an individual member shows up without issues, its just the directory being restricted to only logge in user …

    @webwizardofoz Don’t offer that ever. Not on these forums, not off of these forums and not even on a test site.

    Had the developer made that ask or took you up on that, they would risk losing access to this site and could have their plugin removed. It’s that serious.

    Thank you for contacting our support. And please take note of what @jdembowski has stated.

    If you have selected specific user roles to display to the Member Directory, it will only show for logged-in users. Could you please try deselecting those roles in the Member Directory settings and see if you’re still having issues?

    Sorry, not resolved yet ??

    When I deselect the option “general Options > User Roles to Display”, ie no tick boxes have been selected, it shows my admin role users, still NOT my members ??

    I changed the role of one of my normal members to an admin role, and it still it not showing up, even as an administrator, very strange.

    What is the next step you recommend?

    Have you checked who can see the post in page restriction in wp-admin> Pages> Edit Members Page> Restrict access to this post? > Who can see this post?
