• I’ve looked at trying to categorize a single membership level (Trainee) with multiple categories (Curriculum 1, Curriculum 2, etc) but all I have been able to find is that this has to integrate with Paypal. However, I don’t want/need this functionality – I just want to be able to restrict content based on what Training Curriculum someone has attended. Is there a way to sidestep the use of Paypal using S2Member?

  • Hi,

You can check out the features of WP-Client which is fully capable of restricting content based on a wide range of permissions, etc…

The Lite Version is very basic and intended to show you what the Pro Version is capable of.

Side note: @wp-client Please do not attempt to use the support sub-forums of other plugins to promote your own.

But don’t use these forums to promote your plugin. That’s really frowned upon.

You can give the users the level or capabilities you want without charging them.

The access restriction will check if the user has the access, not how he got it. You just edit the user from his profile page, or the admin User’s list.

Or you could use some PHP. https://www.s2member.com/kb/roles-caps-via-php/

s2Member Pro has a free registration pro-form that lets you give the free user a higher level or custom capabilities without charging him.

    I hope that helps. ??
