Do you have the [pmpro_membership_card] shortcode on a page?

Here’s the function that tries to figure out which post is the membership card post:

You can simply set the $pmpro_membership_card_get_post_id global if you know the ID.

Yes I do. It does the same link on two different sites I have pmp installed on. I have to add the short code to get it to display in the profile/
