Does LearnPress require under WP settings >Membership? to be set to > Anyone can register?

If yes, Is it different if WooCommerce is installed on the site?

    Hi wphyp,

    Thank you for your question.

Regarding your inquiry, if the “Anyone can register” option is enabled in the WordPress settings, the registration form on the LearnPress Profile page will be displayed, provided that the “Enable register form” option is also enabled in the LearnPress settings.

However, if the “Anyone can register” option is disabled in WordPress settings, the registration form on the LearnPress Profile page will not be displayed, even if the “Enable register form” option is enabled in LearnPress settings.

As for your question about WooCommerce, it is not entirely clear what specific scenario you’re asking about. If you could provide more details, we’d be happy to offer further clarification.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

Should New User Default Role be set as “customer”?

    Hi wphyp,

Thank you for your follow-up question.

You can set the New User Default Role to “Customer” without any issues. However, to avoid any unexpected conflicts or errors, it is generally recommended to keep the default WordPress setting as “Subscriber.” This is the standard role designed for new users, and it helps maintain consistency across your site.

If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out.

    Best regards,
    Brianvu-tp
