Members Not Showing

  • I am trying to show members in Members Directory. At this time, there is only me, the Admin.

    I get the message: We are sorry. We can’t not find any users who match your search criteria.

    BTW Search is turned off.

    I must have a setting wrong, but which ones, lol?

    UPDATE: I created a ficticious member and that new member did show in the Directory, It seems the Directory doesn’t want to show the Admin role.

  • So after my third uninstall and reinstall it magically started to work. Im afraid i can shed no light on why it suddenly worked but i hope you guys can get sorted. I was starting to look at other solutions but IMO this is the best plugin, i have it working on two other sites so this was driving me mad.

    Thank you. Today I will post my current settings which I think are relevant to the problem They don’t work. Please compare them with yours. Hopefully, there will be a difference that will solve my problem.

    Default posts layout is set to : No sidebars : full width layout

    Add a slider to this post/page
    NO
    Enable Profile Photo
    Yes
    Enable Cover Photo
    No
    Show display name
    Yes
    Show tagline below profile name
    No
    Show extra user information below tagline?
    No

    User Roles to Display
    Empty

    Only show members who have uploaded a profile photo
    No
    Only show members who have uploaded a cover photo
    No
    Sort users by
    Last Name

    Enable Search feature
    No

    Number of profiles per page 12
    Number of profiles per page (for Mobiles & Tablets) 6
    Maximum number of profiles Empty

    Hey engine, turns out it had stopped working again so I wouldn’t have been much help. I took the advice of Champ and so far its working. Fingers crossed!

    For peace of mind im set to:

    I just found that many tab settings remain reversed. For example, on the account settings page, if you want to display the Privacy tab, you have to turn it off.

    It’s easy to work around this by reversing what is normal, but it would be nice if it were corrected.

    Hi @engine44,

    We’ve tested it out on our test sites and it works well on our end. All tabs settings are working as expected. Can you please try using a default WP theme and see if this issue will occur?
