Hi, great plugin. Too bad I have to deactivate it until it stops disabling the messaging feature in the members loop.

Others have brought this to your attention but there has been no fix for it.

Once activating your plugin the messaging button in the members loop still shows for each member but your plugin renders it useless. This should not be happening.

Are you going to stop the plugin from disabling the messaging feature in the members loop or are you going to enable the messaging feature for the members loop with this plugin like it works on the profile page?

How do we hide the messaging button on the members loop until a decision is made for this plugin? Maybe a CSS temporary solution?

    Great potential.

…it stops disabling the messaging feature in the members loop.

afaik, BuddyPress does not include a ‘messaging feature in the members loop’.

How are you adding that feature? Theme? Plugin?

    Hi @shanebp,

You are correct. My humble apologies. The theme added that and I was able to (via CSS) remove the button. I will be taking this up with them.

I’ve been working on this for too long.

    Thanks.

    Which theme is it?
Let me know what the theme authors say about the conflict.

It’s the Kleo theme. Just got it and was working with it on a new site. Hadn’t gotten much into the messaging on BP until now. And it was surprising to find it in the members page.

However, given all of the updates with BP lately I made a presumption that had been added. I know better than to presume. But, I did it anyway.

Oh,and sure, I will let you know what they have to say. I’m thinking of asking that those buttons be optional. I don’t see where they are at this point.
