    Hi there

I’ve worked out how to add/remove fields from the Members List Export CSV, and also how to add extra fields to the Members List shown in the Admin Dashboard, but I’m wondering if there is any way of removing the default fields from the Admin Dashboard eg. First Name, Billing Address etc.

As far as I can see, there isn’t a function/filter for these as they seem to be set specifically in adminpages/memberslist.php, or am I missing something?

I guess I can always edit memberslist.php but I’m reluctant to edit the core for obvious reasons. Is there any way of using a template in my child theme? Saving an edited version as mytheme/paid-memberships-pro/adminpages/memberslist.php unfortunately doesn’t seem to work.

Any suggestions? My exports work fine but the members list in the dashboard is now looking somewhat untidy with the extra fields I’ve added and I’d really like to be able to remove some the default fields which aren’t relevant to my users.

    With many thanks in advance.
    Nik

    Hi Nik,

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

Unfortunately at this point in time you would need to edit the memberslist.php directly (which is not recommended).

I think we could add in CSS classes to simply use CSS to hide specific columns and I have added this onto our development schedule.

    Thank you for understanding.

    Hi Andrew

Many thanks for getting back to me so promptly and confirming that at least I haven’t overlooked anything!

I did also consider the CSS option but for now at least, have decided to simply edit the core file (commenting out the parts I don’t need). Obviously it’s not ideal but I always keep a back up and will of course compare/update if necessary if/when the plug-in gets updated.

Would be great if you did ever consider this as an additional feature though. The export is so flexible, it’s a shame (and a bit of a surprise) that what gets shown on-screen isn’t so much.

Still a great plug-in overall though and many thanks for your support.

    Hi Nik,
