    I want to be able to provide others(guests) from having access users profiles from the member list…Only certain roles should be able to access user profiles….if possible display certain information about users base on user role

    Hello @klenshop

    1. There is the “Can view other member profiles?” in user role’s settings.
    2. There is the “Visibility” option in field’s settings. You could show the field for specific user roles.

    I thought the “can view other members profile” applies to that user role when login but not guest users?
    The second option is not clear.

    1. Yes, it is only for logged in users.
    2. Please try to check this function for understanding. You need to set what user role could see the field.
