Member directory sorting / search & fail in sent mails

    Hello,

    A/ Members directory
    users of my new web are complaining about bad possibilities of searching / sorting of members directory. So I have 2 questions.

    1/ Can I somehow manage the standard wordpress search force to search through profiles? My profiles contain quite a lot informations including conditionally shown. So using your system of multiple searchfields would be… let’s say pretty annoying. I need a solution with one field which search through all public informations.

    2/ Sorting. Is it posible to change sorting using a dropdown? Now I’m using workaround of 2 member directories with 2 pages, which is really oldschool.

    B/ E-mail notifications

    All e-mail notifications of the core plugin (not extensions) are sent in original with subject only changed to my custom subject. When I’m in settings, I see my custom e-mails saved (subject and content), but users won’t get them. Can I change the texts somewhere in the code? It sucks but if it works until update which would fix it, I take the solution. Extensions with custom e-mails work fine and send custom e-mails.

    Hi @myclassicrideeu,

    1. Unfortunately, it’s not possible without customization of plugin files.

    2. It’s also not possible to change sorting using a dropdown.
    Do you have HTML for emails enabled? Have you seen our doc Using HTML in e-mail templates?
    We’ve implemented a lot of changes in the new version of the Ultimate member core which should be available very soon.
