Hi There! We’ve created a website that utilizes two separate member directories. I’m noticing that the directories are only populated when viewing with an ‘admin’ user. If I view the directories using either of my custom roles instead, the directory does not populate and says ‘We are sorry. We cannot find any users who match your search criteria’. All user roles are deselected under ‘User Roles that can use filters’ so I know this is not the problem.

Second to this, we need our directory to list publicy for those without user roles – is this possible? I believe this would be the same process and have all roles deselected? Thanks so much!

    Hello @bethdc

Can you please make sure the user you are trying to view the directory has access to view other member’s profiles?

Profile cards will not be listed if a profile is set as private and the viewing user does not have access to view a private profile. And it also does not list any profile if the viewing user does not have access to view other members’ profiles.

Hi there! Thanks for your quick reply. I’ve fixed the issues above.

That being said – I’m unfortunately facing a new issue To give a bit of a background, I have different two directories (showcasing two separate user roles) both of which I want to have inner member profiles. For this, i’ve created two separate profile forms with different fields. I then put two different ‘profile’ shortcodes on the ‘user’ page. My intension is to only have one show at a time depending on which directory one is coming from.

One of my user profile pages/shortcode loads just fine on the user page while the other does not. I’ve gone through all of my settings and can’t seem to find what is going on. I have each form set to the appropriate user role.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hello @bethdc

Have set both profile forms to be role specific?

Yes. Both individual profile forms are set to their respective roles.

    Hi there.

I have just solved the issue. Our website is using Elementor and it seems that when I put the two short codes in different ‘section’ modules, only the first one will appear on the page. When I put these shortcodes together in one section module, they suddenly work again.

    Thank you for your time.
