• I have a problem with your plugin. My members are complaining about member account of someone else appearing as logged in before they could even log in themselves. And the worse thing, they can even access this another member’s “edit profile” and can easily change the password of an account that wasn’t theirs. I even encountered it myself. I clicked on the member login link and before I could log in, my member panel shows that someone has already logged in my browser and it’s not my account. When I tried to click the edit profile, it shows another member’s profile different from the previous one. When I tried to log out, it won’t log out and if it did, it would being back again to the account that wasn’t mine. This is scary because free members could also access paid membership accounts that isn’t theirs and could even change their passwords to make a certain account theirs. Please do an action about this. What do I have to do?

  • I think you have enabled a caching plugin. You should disable caching for logged in users!

    How to do that? Thanks?

It depends on the caching plugin you use. Most of them have this option.

I saw a Comet Cache activated in my plugins. I didn’t know I have this since my site used to be managed by a developer. I already deactivated it. Thank you for your help! I hope this solves the problem.

Hi, just thought of asking. Is your issue resolved?

    Thank you

Hi! Not yet ?? Please help. I deactivated the cache plugin but the problem still persists. Thank you.

One of my site testers has reported the same issue. No caching plugins installed.

Hi, unfortunately I can’t reproduce this issue myself. Your best option is to enable Debug mode. Next time someone reports this issue, check the log files.

    Kind regards

I’ve changed the members logout link from
    domain.com/wp-login.php?action=logout
    to
    domain.com/?swpm-logout=true

and my tester is no longer having the issue of other members being logged in during his session.

A remnant of the issue is left behind as the tester is reporting the last logged-in username remains visible in the login form after logging out.
