Hi. I’m using the Boombox WordPress theme, and it uses BuddyPress and myCred along with your Nextend Social Login.

When a site member sends an invitation in the profile area from BuddyPress, it sends the link to the intended person, then they click the link, and go to a /register/… page. I fill out the fields (just basic fields, not the social accounts), and when I submit, it goes to the home page, but it does not create the user in WordPress.

    Am I missing something somewhere?

My site hasn’t launched yet, so it’s not open to the public, so I can’t provide a link yet.

    Thanks.

    Hi @guywp

So if I understand correctly, then you don’t press our social buttons at any point of this registration flow, right?

If this is the case, then this topic is actually outside of the scope of Nextend Social Login, as the registration is done by BuddyPress – assuming that you register over the BuddyPress registration form. So it depends on them whether the new account will be created or not, thus I would suggest you to get in touch with their support as they know their codes and workflow better.
But as a tip: as far as I know BuddyPress has an activation system and until the account is not activated, you won’t see the new account in the “All” users table, instead it will be listed below the “Pending” category. So I would suggest you to check the account there. If it shows up there, then you should have received an activation email ( if you can not find it, don’t forget to check the spam/promotions folders ) and if you click on the activation link. Once the account is activated, it should show up in the All users table as well.

If I misunderstood the problem, just let me know!

    Best regards,
    Laszlo.
