Mega Menu with Menu Per Page

  • Dear Tom,

    I’m really liking the plugin, works great! For a new website however I would like to use it alongside with the plugin “Menu Per Pages” which allows you to select a created menu per page (as the name suggests).

    This however doesn’t work with your plugin, the layout is not being used. And thus the advantage of a Mega menu is gone. Would you have an idea how to get both plugins working together? Via the custom CSS?

    Hi Lars,

    I don’t know how Menu Per Pages works, but if it’s not doing things ‘by the book’ then it’s unlikely to work with MMM.

    If I needed the same functionality, I would:

    1. Remove the current menu from the theme altogether
    2. Add a widget area in its place (maybe you already have one as part of your theme)
    3. Create a widget/menu for each page
    4. Use the Widget Logic plugin to display each menu widget on the correct page only
